Occupational Therapist
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role will primarily involve providing therapy services in a variety of settings. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality care and supporting patients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
Schedule
40 hours per week
Monday to Friday
No weekend rotation
Work Environment
This position will be based in a combination of home healthcare (VA) and skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings, allowing for a diverse range of occupational therapy experiences.
Key Responsibilities Assess and evaluate patients' needs to develop individualized treatment plans.
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' daily living skills and overall quality of life.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Educate patients and families about therapeutic techniques and exercises.
Qualifications Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
Previous experience in a VA or SNF setting is preferred but not mandatory.
