Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure the well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care and administer medications as prescribed.
Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
Monitor and assess patient health status and report changes to the healthcare team.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and care plans.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Participate in weekend rotation to meet the facility's staffing needs.
Qualifications Valid nursing license in the state of practice.
1+ years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or similar setting preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Schedule
This position is full-time, with a commitment of 35 hours per week. The schedule includes Monday through Friday workdays, with weekend rotation as part of the staffing requirements.
Work Environment
This role is set within a 151-bed skilled nursing facility, offering a supportive and collaborative atmosphere for both staff and residents.
