Job Description
Registered Respiratory Therapist
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering respiratory therapy services as prescribed by provider orders.
Specific Work Responsibilities
Administer respiratory therapy services in accordance with physician directives.
Monitor and assess patient responses to respiratory treatments.
Educate patients and their families on respiratory care and treatments.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
Mandatory Qualifications MUST have a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
Must hold an active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Required Licenses/Certifications Prior to Start Ohio Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials.
BLS certification from American Heart Association.
Work Environment / Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently throughout the day.
May require extended periods of sitting or standing.
Normal visual range with or without correction is needed.
Normal audio range with or without correction is necessary.
Finger dexterity to operate office equipment is required.
Occasional lifting of up to twenty-five (25) pounds may be necessary.
Effective communication in face-to-face, phone, email, and other interactions.
Requires some exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, and chemicals.
Shift Information
This position is for evenings, requiring 32 hours per week, with shifts running from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The selected candidate will also be expected to work every other weekend and holiday.
Minimum Years of Experience
A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.
Certifications / Requirements BLS/BCLS certification.
RRT certification.
