Job Description
Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional care in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both adults and pediatric patients in an ICU setting and be prepared to float as necessary to meet the needs of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory therapy treatments and assess patient conditions.
Provide care for both adult and pediatric patients in the ICU.
Work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Float between similar units to ensure optimal patient care and department efficiency.
Participate in patient care planning and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Position Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
Must hold current licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist.
Ability to work nights and be available for weekend shifts every other week.
Familiarity with Epic charting system is preferred.
Flexibility regarding schedule and willingness to meet the facility's needs.
Must have a maximum of 4 days of requested time off (RTO) and no holiday requests.
Additional Information: All call outs for scheduled shifts will require a makeup shift as determined necessary by the department.
Candidates who have previously worked with us must have been away for at least 1 year to be considered for a new role.
Extension of contracts is limited to one additional term, after which a 6-month break is required before returning.
