Job description
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. This position involves providing comprehensive respiratory care for both adult and pediatric patients in critical care settings.
Key Responsibilities
Perform airway management and medication administration.
Manage ventilators and provide assistance with ABGs and oxygen therapy.
Conduct pulmonary toileting and suctioning procedures.
Assist with bronchoscopies and nebulizer treatments.
Utilize BiPAP and CPAP devices effectively.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience is required.
Previous experience in Adult ICU, Emergency Department, and general pediatric care is essential; PICU experience is preferred.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
Must possess a valid North Carolina state license.
Experience with Adult and Pediatric Respiratory Care, particularly in critical care environments, is necessary.
Familiarity with Servo I ventilators is preferred.
Schedule
This position offers a night shift schedule of 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every third weekend and holiday rotations.
Additional Information
We welcome candidates who are new to travel assignments and are willing to consider those with minimal pediatric experience as long as adult experience is present.
