Job description
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our Respiratory Therapy unit. This position involves providing high-quality respiratory care to patients, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
Shift Type: Days
Shift Length: 12 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor patients' respiratory status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Perform diagnostic tests and analyze results to assess patients' pulmonary function.
Educate patients and their families on respiratory care and management.
Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
Minimum of 2 years in a clinical respiratory setting.
BLS Certification
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC
This role will be based in a specialized Respiratory Therapy unit dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients with various respiratory conditions.
