Job description
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality respiratory care in a short-term acute care environment. The RRT will be responsible for delivering effective patient care, responding to emergency situations, and supporting the healthcare team in various capacities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide respiratory care in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
Participate in floor care, emergency response, and rapid response activities.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
Schedule and Work Conditions
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00).
Participation in block schedules is required.
Weekend shifts required: Every other weekend.
Patient Ratios
The expected patient-to-provider ratio is 1:11.
Qualifications
Current Washington State RRT licensure in hand is required.
Specialized knowledge of respiratory care procedures and protocols.
Ability to work effectively in a team and respond promptly in emergency situations.

Total Staffed Beds: 629.
Teaching hospital with a supportive learning environment.
Charting System: Epic.
Parking: No fees for parking.
