Job description
Respiratory Therapist
Day or night shifts based on operational needs. Required to work 3 or 4 shifts per week, including holiday coverage and overtime as necessary. Leave requests will not be approved during this period.
3 years of experience in respiratory care in a general or acute hospital setting.
General Certifications: BLS/BCLS, NRP, PALS, ACLS
Respiratory Certifications: RRT, CRT
Must have an Associate's degree in respiratory care or equivalent education (certificate of completion in respiratory care)
Must have and maintain a current valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license from any U.S. state, territory, or Commonwealth
Must possess a current valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) is responsible for delivering respiratory therapy modalities, managing emergent and intensive respiratory care, and performing diagnostic procedures. This role requires round-the-clock coverage, working weekends, holidays, and occasionally, overtime. The work environment includes exposure to a variety of patient care scenarios, contributing to a culturally rich community representing diverse backgrounds.
Fingerprinting must be submitted and cleared prior to start.
Holiday coverage is required.
