Surgical Services - Sterile Processing Tech (SPT)We are seeking experienced Sterile Processing Technicians to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates should possess comprehensive knowledge and skills in the following areas:ResponsibilitiesDecontamination of all medical instruments and devices, including drills, Davinci systems, and scopes.Assembly of instruments across various service lines, including trauma and loaners, with attention to peel packaging processes.Execution of sterilization processes, specifically utilizing sterrad and steam methods.Experience with High-Level Disinfection (HLD) and scopes.Management and organization of sterile storage.Act as a liaison for the operating room (OR) staff, ensuring communication and workflow efficiency.Utilization of the Censitrac tracking system for instrument management.Proficiency with the Medivator system is required.QualificationsCandidates must hold either CBSPD or CRCST certification from HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM).Prior experience in a fast-paced environment similar to a Level One trauma facility is preferred.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.Ability to work rotating weekends and occasional scheduled holidays is required.Work ScheduleThis position offers a mid-shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with a rotation of weekends and occasional holidays.Eligibility RestrictionsPrevious permanent staff and return travelers are not eligible for re-application within the system.Travelers reaching the one-year maximum contract limit are not eligible for extensions or future assignments.Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility are not eligible.
