Job description
Surgical TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team for a 16-week contract. The Surgical Technician will play a vital role in assisting during surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, and providing support to the surgical team.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with surgical procedures by preparing instruments and supplies.Maintain a sterile field and ensure compliance with safety protocols.Collaborate with surgical staff to ensure efficient workflow.Transport patients as needed and assist in patient care pre- and post-operation.Participate in maintaining equipment and the surgical environment.QualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technician.Valid AHA BLS certification required.Central Supply Technician Certification is required.Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Compliance RequirementsAll licenses and certifications must be valid at the time of application submission and throughout the entire contract period. Compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to the contract start date.Additional InformationRequested Time Off (RTO) during the initial contract is limited to a maximum of 7 days, from Wednesday to Wednesday.
