Sterile Processing Tech (SPT)The Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) is a vital position responsible for ensuring the proper cleaning, sterilization, and maintenance of surgical instruments and medical equipment. This role requires experienced individuals with a strong background in sterile processing.Key Responsibilities:Perform decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and infection control protocols.Organize and maintain the sterile supply inventory.Assist in the assembly and packaging of surgical instruments.Utilize Epic for charting and documentation as required.Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing.Experience with sterile processing procedures and protocols.Ability to work effectively within a team environment.Weekend availability required, working every 4th weekend.Flexibility to work mid shifts (14:00 - 22:30).Additional Information:Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center.Scrub Color: Any color; surgical services will be provided.Parking Fee: No fee for parking.Block schedules are not required.If you are an experienced Sterile Processing Technician looking for a new opportunity, we encourage you to apply and join our dynamic team.Client Details State WA
