Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking an Alternative Investment Fund Accountant that performs daily accounting activities in accordance with generally accepted accounting procedures, such as, maintenance of the general ledger and preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports.

Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking an Alternative Investment Fund Accountant that performs daily accounting activities in accordance with generally accepted accounting procedures, such as, maintenance of the general ledger and preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a business-related field, or equivalent work experience
Two to five years of related experience, preferably in portfolio/partnership accounting
Preferred Skills/Experience:
CPA or CA preferred
Thorough knowledge in accounting, reporting and analysis
Ability to identify and resolve/escalate complex problems with minimal guidance
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer navigational skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
Experience in (PCS) Investran
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
