Job TitleCustodianJob DescriptionThe Custodian cleans and maintains assigned area(s) to meet customer and client satisfaction and may be responsible for oversight or delegation of responsibilities within the cleaning services operation. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by HES location based on client requirements and business needs.Job ResponsibilitiesAdheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and HES regulations.Maintains a clean and orderly environment to protect the safety and health of othersAccurately cleans and maintains housekeeping equipmentCleans assigned areas to HES and client standards and requirements.Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areasReports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnelSecures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as requiredEnsures security of company assetsSummer Project WorkWinter – Ice & Snow RemovalAt HES, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done, make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change, or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.QualificationsPrevious custodial experience requiredMust have the ability to work independently with limited supervisionAble to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicalsAble to train new hiresMaintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers.Adaptable to client needsThis role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
