Aluminum Tig WelderSmoker Craft, Inc currently has an Aluminum Tig Welder position available. This position works from our plant in New Paris, IN.Pontoon Tig Welders can earn up to $32.29/hr. after 60 days. After the first week of work, employees are eligible for an Attendance Bonus averaging an additional $50/week!Shift Hours are currently scheduled at 40 hours a week, 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday-Friday.At Smoker Craft Incorporated, we believe that each employee contributes directly to the company's growth and success! These qualities are deep-rooted and extend throughout our team members that build and deliver high-quality marine products, outstanding customer service and unsurpassed value.Responsibilities include:Prepare metal to be welded using cleaner, grinders, and brushesClamp, hold, or tack weld components to be weldedFile or grind excess weld spatterUse of handheld power toolsRequired skills and experience:Candidates must have previous aluminum tig welding experience and be able to pass a weld test.Ability to adjust welding equipment to metal being used to avoid warping, burn through and porous weldsMark and/or tag material with correct name and part number after weld is completedWeld in flat, horizontal, or vertical positionsFlexibility in job assignments to move where neededAbility to bend, squat/crouch, reach, kneel, push/pull, twistLift 20 lbs. frequently throughout the shift and up to 50-100 lbs. occasionallyAble to produce quality work within given time frameDecision making skillsSafe working habitsPreferred skills and experience:Aluminum welding2 years' experience Tig welding in manufacturing environmentSchedule:8-hour shiftDay shift 6 am - 2:30 pmMonday to Friday (subject to change based on production needs)Equal opportunity employer.
