Job description
Aluminum Welder Sugar Land TXWe are seeking an experienced Aluminum Welder Sugar Land TX. The welder will be responsible for production fitting and welding using the GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) processes. Candidates should be comfortable working from shop drawings and standard product details. A 1G weld test is required for certification in accordance with AWS D1.2 (latest revision).Prior aluminum welding experience is required.Job Duties:Fit and weld aluminum components per job specificationsMeet daily production goalsRead and interpret shop work orders and blueprintsFollow welding procedures for aluminum fabricationAssist in maintaining a clean and safe work environmentOperate overhead cranes and material handling equipment as neededProvide support in other departments when requiredJob Requirements:Authorized to work in the USAAbility to pass a welding testAluminum welding experience (MIG & TIG preferred)Ability to operate overhead cranesMust pass a pre-employment drug testAbility to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for long periodsNo felonies in the last three years, no violent felonies everPay: $16-$18 DOE Shifts: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Location: Sugar Land, TX 77478
