AMA-Certified Medical AssistantJoin a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a Medical Assistant, where you will play a vital role in supporting healthcare providers and ensuring a smooth, efficient, and compassionate patient care experience. This position involves performing patient care duties within the scope of medical assistant licensure, assisting with treatments and procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform patient care tasks as directed by providers, ensuring timely and accurate execution of orders.Facilitate patient flow to optimize clinic operations and enhance patient satisfaction, communicating effectively about wait times.Assist with treatments and procedures, preparing necessary supplies and ensuring proper consent is obtained.Administer immunizations under provider supervision, adhering to legal and safety guidelines.Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records and manage referral coordination for consults and diagnostics.Conduct daily room checks, stock exam rooms, manage sample medications, and uphold infection control standards.Collaborate with environmental services to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.Engage in ongoing learning, teamwork, and contribute positively to the workplace culture.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Graduate of an accredited certified medical assistant program.Licenses and CertificationsCurrent Medical Assistant Certification and Licensure as required by the state.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 90 days of hire.Skills and AbilitiesStrong knowledge of medical assistant duties and patient care techniques.Proficiency with technology, including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks independently with sound judgment.Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and fostering effective working relationships.This role offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and financial security.
