Applications are open for the Amazon Solutions Architect Intern, AWSI - 2027 at Amazon Web Services, Inc. This cohort-based internship is designed for students in technical degree programs who want hands‑on experience with AWS solutions, customer engagement, and cloud architecture.
About the Internship
This internship gives participants technical training, mentorship, and exposure to real customer challenges on AWS. Interns join a cohort-based program and work directly on solutions that support AWS service adoption.
In addition, the role combines learning and practical delivery. According to the posting, tentative start dates are June 21 and May 24. Interns also gain experience in customer‑facing technical work while building on the AWS cloud.
Level of Study: Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or greater degree program (Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related) with a graduation date between December 2027 and September 2028.
Responsibilities
Create solutions that address customer business problems and accelerate adoption of AWS services
Interface with internal and external customers, including developers and team leads
Gather feedback from customers and translate it into business and technical requirements
Engage directly on actual business challenges and build on the AWS cloud
Apply AWS services and architectural best practices in real‑world scenarios
Work with mentors to build and implement solutions and prepare for customer‑facing roles
Eligibility Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or greater degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical fields with graduation date between December 2027 and September 2028
Commit to work 40 hours/week minimum for a 12-week internship
Experience in one or more domains: analytics, security, storage, DevOps, application development, or machine learning
Able to work onsite Monday-Friday (interns should expect onsite work)
Skills Preferred: Experience with Java, Python, Node.js, C#, or C++; experience with Generative AI/LLMs or ML; AWS certification; ability to communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences; applying frameworks and design patterns.
