Powered by UC Irvine, UCI Health serves 5.6 million people across Orange County, western Riverside County and southeast Los Angeles County through excellence in patient care, research and medical education.ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:The incumbent is responsible for the supervision of the Clinic. Works closely with Medical Center administration and clinic physicians to ensure seamless operation between all activities related to directing and evaluating patient care activities, managing clinical resources and developing and monitoring organizational policy/procedures.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Strong analytical skills to collect and analyze operational dataPrevious lead or supervisory experiencePrevious experience working in a primary or specialty care clinicMust possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned dutiesMust demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the jobExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAbility to successfully identify priorities while managing multiple assignments simultaneouslyAbility to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workloadAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health SystemDemonstrated experience in a healthcare leadership role for at least 6 monthsPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of financial and accounting concepts and practices especially as relates to practice managementKnowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and formsExperience working in a UC and/or union environmentCurrent California LVN licenseBilingual skills in English and SpanishBachelor Degree in related field or equivalent education and experienceTotal RewardsWe offer a wealth of benefits to make working at UCI even more rewarding.
