About This Role
The Ambulatory Care Nurse - Cardiology will support the coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies and procedures. This role is ideal for a dedicated nurse looking to provide comprehensive care and collaborate with licensed providers to develop patient-centered plans of care.

What You'll Do
Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests
Collect patient health history
Record information in electronic health record
Provide information, counsel, and education to patients and families regarding test results and treatment plans
Administer medications, provide comprehensive wound care, and perform phone and in-person patient triage
Assess and monitor patient responses to various treatments, procedures, and anesthesia
Consult with clinical supervisors and licensed providers to determine best treatment plans for patients
Direct, supervise, and delegate to licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, and technicians
Support the coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and performance evaluation of nursing practice
Participate in clinical inquiry and activities to foster evidence-based practice
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required (Associate Degree in Nursing may be approved with conditions)
Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in applicable area
Licenses & Certifications: Current Registered Nurse License in New York
Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association
ACLS certification preferred
