About This Role
The Ambulatory Care Nurse will support the coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies and procedures. This role is ideal for a nurse who is committed to providing comprehensive care and collaborating with licensed providers to develop patient-centered plans.

Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift
What You'll Do
Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests
Collect patient health history
Record information in electronic health record
Provide information, counsel, and education to patients and families regarding test results and treatment plans
Administer medications, provide comprehensive wound care, and perform patient triage
Assess and monitor patient responses to various treatments, procedures, and anesthesia
Consult with clinical supervisors and licensed providers to determine best treatment plans
Direct, supervise, and delegate to licensed practical nurses and medical assistants
Support the coordination and implementation of nursing practice and clinical policies
Participate in designated activities related to clinical standards and regulations
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required (Associate Degree in Nursing may be approved contingent upon enrollment in a baccalaureate nursing program)
Experience: Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in applicable area
Licenses & Certifications: Current Registered Professional Nurse License in New York
Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association
ACLS certification preferred
