About This Role
The Ambulatory Care Nurse (FGP) - Manhattan, Trinity will support the coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies. This role is ideal for a dedicated nurse looking to provide comprehensive care and participate in quality improvement activities.

What You'll Do
Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests
Collect patient health history
Record information in electronic health record
Provide information, counsel, and education to patients and families regarding test results and treatment plans as directed
Administer medications, provide comprehensive wound care, and perform phone and in-person patient triage for clinical concerns
Assess and monitor patient responses to various treatments, procedures, and anesthesia
Assess and interpret patient information, making treatment decisions as appropriate
Consult with clinical supervisors and licensed providers to determine best treatment plans for patients
Direct, supervise, and delegate to licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, and technicians as needed
Participate in coordination of on-site activities to provide patient care in a healing, humane, and caring environment
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution required; Associate Degree in Nursing may be approved contingent upon approval from Nursing Leadership
Experience
Minimum of two years nursing experience in applicable area
Licenses & Certifications
Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York
Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association
ACLS certification preferred
