This full-time day position involves assisting with both administrative and clinical duties to ensure smooth patient care delivery.You will help obtain patient vital signs, update medical charts, compile statistical data, and adhere to regulatory and policy standards. Care is provided to a diverse patient population, including adults, older adults, and pediatric patients, under the supervision of licensed providers.Education, Training, and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED required.Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and successful passing of a nationally recognized certification exam from organizations such as CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesCompletion of medication administration, AED, and phlebotomy competency exams within the first month of employment.Ability to operate clinical and office equipment effectively.Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.Physical RequirementsMust be able to see, hear, read, and perform manual tasks.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as needed throughout the workday.Potential exposure to blood or infectious materials requiring adherence to safety protocols.This role is based in a regional healthcare setting serving the Southeastern United States, offering a supportive environment dedicated to patient-centered care and professional growth.
