Accredited Medical AssistantBalaton, MN $37,089 - $46,099 a yearJob Type: Full TimeJob Summary: Join a compassionate healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a clinical setting. This role involves supporting healthcare providers by managing patient care tasks and ensuring smooth clinical operations tailored to the needs of the practice.Essential Responsibilities:Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.Respond promptly to patient calls, triage effectively, and offer reassurance along with clear, accurate instructions.Facilitate efficient healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories and chief complaints.Observe and communicate abnormal patient signs to physicians, ensuring thorough documentation in medical records.Assist with testing and treatment procedures under physician supervision, including applying splints, dressings, and preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.Manage sample medications and logs, arrange necessary testing or admissions, and obtain appropriate referrals and consents for invasive procedures or immunizations.Distribute patient education materials and support patient understanding of treatment plans and medication usage.Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed.Ensure clinical areas are well-stocked, clean, and organized, maintaining sterile instruments and functional equipment.Carry out additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.Education and Experience Required:Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or an accredited Nursing Program.Work Shift: 1st Shift, full-time, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
