This role involves supporting healthcare providers by managing patient interactions, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinical operations.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators.Respond to patient inquiries via phone, offering reassurance and clear guidance.Prepare patients for examinations by collecting vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.Communicate abnormal patient findings to physicians and document accurately in medical records.Assist physicians with minor procedures, sample medications, and testing coordination.Maintain and update patient records and billing information within electronic medical systems.Ensure clinical areas are well-stocked, clean, and organized, adhering to sterilization and safety protocols.Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.Alternatively, a minimum of five years of relevant clinical experience in a medical practice.This position offers a full-time schedule during the first shift, serving patients in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest.
