This role involves assisting healthcare providers by delivering attentive and efficient patient care tailored to the needs of the practice.Essential Responsibilities:Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk individuals. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.Manage patient interactions including telephone triage, offering reassurance, education, and clear instructions.Ensure smooth healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories and chief complaints accurately.Observe and report abnormal patient signs to physicians, maintaining thorough and precise medical records and billing documentation.Support physicians with testing, treatments, minor procedures, and medication management, including sample medications and logs.Coordinate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up communications, ensuring patients understand treatment plans and medication usage.Maintain clinical supplies, equipment, and patient education materials, ensuring exam rooms are clean, organized, and compliant with sterilization protocols.Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed.Carry out additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.Education and Experience Required:Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.Work Shift: 1st ShiftScheduled Weekly Hours: 34.5This opportunity is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest, offering a supportive environment for professional growth and patient-centered care.
