Accredited Medical AssistantEdgerton, MN $37,099 - $46,099 a yearJob Type: Full TimeJob Summary: Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate patient care in a clinical setting within the Midwest region. This role involves assisting with patient management and supporting healthcare providers to ensure smooth and effective delivery of services.Essential Responsibilities:Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Provide reassurance, education, and clear guidance to patients.Facilitate efficient healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for examination, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and ensuring accurate and updated medical records. Communicate abnormal findings to providers and document thoroughly.Support physicians with testing, treatments, minor procedures, and medication management. Assist with sample medications, referrals, and patient education materials. Ensure proper consents are obtained for invasive procedures and immunizations.Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education resources, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.Education and Experience Required:- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program. Work Shift: 1st Shift, part-time (approximately 34.5 hours weekly).
