Accredited Medical AssistantLynd, MN $35,099 - $46,099 a yearJob Type: Full TimeJob Summary: Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate patient care in a clinical setting. This role supports health care delivery and patient management, adapting daily duties to meet the evolving needs of the practice.Essential Responsibilities:Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk clients. Provide reassurance, education, and clear guidance to patients.Ensure smooth healthcare service flow during patient visits by preparing patients for exams, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and accurately documenting all information in electronic medical records.Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints and dressings, managing medication samples, and coordinating referrals and patient testing.Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, ensuring cleanliness, and sterilizing instruments and equipment.Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed, while supporting patient understanding of treatment plans and medication usage.Education and Experience Required:Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is required.Work Shift: First shift, part-time (approximately 34.5 hours weekly).This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
