Accredited Medical AssistantMinneota, MN $34,499 - $46,099 a yearJob Type: Full TimeJob Summary: Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate clinical support and patient care management in a dynamic wellness center setting. Your daily tasks will adapt to meet the evolving needs of the practice, ensuring patients receive attentive and personalized care.Essential Responsibilities:Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk individuals. Provide reassurance, clear education, and guidance to patients.Coordinate efficient healthcare delivery throughout patient visits, including accurate and timely completion of medical records. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints.Observe and communicate abnormal patient signs to physicians, documenting findings thoroughly. Ensure patients understand physician instructions upon discharge.Assist with diagnostic testing and treatment procedures under physician supervision, including applying splints, dressings, and managing sample medications and logs.Arrange necessary patient testing, admissions, and referrals. Retrieve and communicate test results to patients as appropriate.Support minor surgical preparations and physical exams, obtaining consents for invasive procedures and immunizations.Distribute educational materials and assist patients in understanding treatment plans and medication usage.Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed.Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, ensuring cleanliness, and sterilizing instruments and equipment.Perform additional duties as assigned, adapting to the needs of the practice.Education and Experience Required: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.Work Shift: 1st ShiftScheduled Weekly Hours: 34.5This opportunity is located in a welcoming healthcare environment serving the Midwest region of the United States.
