Accredited Medical Assistant - Sleep MedicineRuthton, MN $37,099 - $46,099 a yearJob Type: Full TimeJob Summary: Join a dedicated clinical team providing compassionate healthcare and patient management in a supportive environment. This role involves a variety of daily tasks tailored to meet the evolving needs of the practice.Essential Responsibilities:Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Provide reassurance, education, and clear guidance to patients.Ensure smooth healthcare delivery during patient visits by maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records. Prepare patients for examinations by collecting vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints. Monitor and communicate abnormal patient conditions to physicians and document accordingly.Support physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams. Assist with splinting, dressings, medication samples, referrals, and patient education. Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as required.Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.Perform additional duties as assigned, adapting to the dynamic needs of the clinical setting.Education and Experience:Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing program is required.Work Schedule:Part-time, 32 hours weekly, Monday through Thursday, day shift.This opportunity is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
