AMT Certified Medical Assistant - Adult & Pediatric CareMarshall, MN $37,099 - $46,099 a yearJob Type: Full TimeJob Summary: Join a dedicated clinical team providing compassionate healthcare and patient management in a dynamic practice setting. Your daily tasks will adapt to meet the evolving needs of the practice, ensuring excellent patient care and support.Essential Responsibilities:Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk clients. Provide care aligned with established standards and guidelines.Respond promptly to telephone inquiries, triage effectively, and offer patients reassurance, clear education, and guidance.Facilitate smooth healthcare delivery during patient visits by ensuring medical records are accurate, complete, and up to date.Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints, while observing and communicating any abnormal findings to the physician.Document patient interactions and physician instructions thoroughly in electronic medical records, including billing information.Support physicians with testing, treatment procedures, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints and dressings under supervision.Manage sample medications and logs, arrange necessary testing or admissions, and obtain appropriate referrals and consents for invasive procedures or immunizations.Distribute educational materials and ensure patients understand treatment plans and medication usage.Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed.Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.Education and Experience Required:Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is required.Work Schedule:Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, full-time (40 hours per week).This opportunity is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
