This role adapts daily to meet the evolving needs of the practice, ensuring patients receive attentive and thorough care.Essential Responsibilities:Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk individuals. Provide reassurance, clear education, and guidance to patients.Facilitate smooth healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for exams, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories and chief complaints accurately.Observe and communicate abnormal patient symptoms to providers, ensuring thorough documentation in electronic medical records and accurate billing entries.Support physicians with testing, treatments, minor procedures, and medication management, including sample tracking and patient education.Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, ensuring cleanliness, and sterilizing instruments to uphold safety and efficiency standards.Education and Experience:Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing program is required.Work Schedule:Part-time, PRN (as needed) with typical hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.This opportunity is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest, offering a supportive environment for professional growth and patient-centered care.
