AMT Certified Medical Assistant - PRNRussell, MN $37,099 - $46,099 a yearFull TimeJob Summary: Join a compassionate healthcare team providing clinical support and patient care management in a dynamic outpatient setting. This role adapts daily to meet the evolving needs of the practice, ensuring quality care and smooth patient experiences.Essential Responsibilities:Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Provide reassurance, education, and clear guidance to patients.Facilitate efficient healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for exams, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and accurately documenting all information in electronic medical records.Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor procedures, and medication management, including sample medications and referrals. Ensure proper consents are obtained for invasive procedures and immunizations.Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed.Carry out additional duties as assigned to support the healthcare team.Education and Experience Required:Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.This position offers a part-time, as-needed schedule with typical hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, serving patients in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest.
