This role supports the delivery of health services and patient management tailored to the needs of the practice.Essential Responsibilities:Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk clients. Provide reassurance, education, and clear guidance to patients.Ensure smooth healthcare service delivery during patient visits, including accurate and updated medical records. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and relevant health history. Monitor and communicate abnormal symptoms to physicians and document findings thoroughly.Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams. Manage medication samples and logs, coordinate patient testing and referrals, and ensure proper consents are obtained for procedures and immunizations. Provide patient education and support understanding of treatments and medications.Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed.Education and Experience Required: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.Work Shift: 1st Shift, part-time (24 hours weekly)This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
