Medical Assistant - UrogynecologyJoin a compassionate clinical team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in urogynecology. This role involves supporting healthcare providers by managing patient interactions, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinical operations within a regional healthcare setting in the Midwest.Full TimeKey Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care and support through delegation, recognizing normal and abnormal patient conditions to ensure safety and quality care.Manage patient flow efficiently, including preparing patients for exams, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories and chief complaints.Communicate effectively with patients, offering reassurance, education, and clear instructions following physician guidance.Assist physicians during minor surgeries, treatments, and testing procedures, including applying splints, dressings, and administering sample medications.Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and electronic billing documentation.Ensure clinical areas are well-stocked, clean, and organized, maintaining sterile instruments and functional equipment.Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing program is required.This full-time position operates on a first shift schedule, offering a supportive environment for professional growth within a regional healthcare network serving the Midwest.
