The Analyst will serve as a key member of Wingspan Capital Group, supporting the firm's capital markets, investor relations, private equity, strategic advisory, and family office initiatives. This role will be responsible for financial analysis, investment underwriting, market research, transaction execution support, investor reporting, and presentation development.

The Analyst will work directly with the President, Director of Investor Relations, and Director of Private Equity, gaining broad exposure to debt and equity capital raising, M&A transactions, portfolio management, fund development, and other strategic finance initiatives across the Nicholas Family of Companies.

This position is ideal for a highly analytical, intellectually curious professional seeking hands-on experience across corporate finance, private equity, investment management, and capital markets.

Primary Responsibilities:

Build, maintain, and enhance sophisticated financial models for investment, development, acquisition, and financing opportunities.

Perform valuation analyses utilizing DCF, comparable company, precedent transaction, and other relevant methodologies.

Evaluate debt and equity financing alternatives and analyze capital stack optimization scenarios.

Assist in underwriting investments, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic initiatives.

Monitor portfolio company and project performance against underwriting assumptions and investment objectives.

Support debt and equity capital raising activities, including preparation of financial analyses and investor materials.

Assist with credit facility evaluations, lender presentations, and financing requests.

Support transaction execution activities, including due diligence, data room management, financial packaging, and closing processes.

Research capital markets trends, financing structures, interest rate movements, and investor sentiment.

Track economic, demographic, real estate, construction, and capital market trends.

Conduct industry research and competitive analyses to support investment decisions.

Prepare analyses of comparable projects, transactions, and investment opportunities.

Develop market intelligence reports for executive leadership and investment committees.

Monitor macroeconomic indicators affecting portfolio companies and investment performance.

Assist with preparation of quarterly investor reports, newsletters, and performance updates.

Support investor onboarding, diligence requests, and information management.

Research and respond to investor inquiries in coordination with Investor Relations leadership.

Prepare investor presentations, fundraising materials, and marketing collateral.

Maintain accurate investor and fundraising data within firm reporting systems.

Enhance the visual quality and effectiveness of internal and external communications.

Translate complex financial analyses into concise, actionable insights for decision makers.

Leverage emerging technologies and AI tools to improve reporting efficiency and communication effectiveness.

Maintain accurate data and documentation within AppFolio, SharePoint, and other reporting systems.

Organize transaction, investor, financing, and due diligence materials.

Improve workflows and reporting processes through automation and best practices.

Assist in developing scalable reporting infrastructure to support future growth of Wingspan Capital Group.

Participate in special projects involving wealth management, investment strategy, and family office development.

Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives across the Nicholas Family of Companies.

Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, commercial real estate, consulting, transaction advisory, or financial planning and analysis.

Internship experience in finance, investments, real estate, private equity, or capital markets will also be considered.

Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling capabilities.

Strong PowerPoint presentation design skills.

Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting platforms preferred.

Experience with AppFolio, SharePoint, CRM systems, or data management platforms preferred. xhqgsiq
