nAnesthesia Technician (Overnight)
nSchedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
nJoin our team as an Anesthesia Technician and play a vital role in supporting anesthesia providers during surgical and special procedures. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment, assisting with line placements and specialized procedures, processing specimens, performing EKGs, and ensuring all equipment is calibrated and ready for patient care.
nQualifications:
nnnHigh School Diploma or GED required

nn2-5 years of related experience preferred

nnAnesthesia Technician, CNA, and/or CPR certifications preferred

nMissouri Baptist Medical Center , an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. nPreferred Qualifications
nRole Purpose
nProvides skilled assistance to anesthesiology providers, such as assisting with special procedures, preparing equipment and supplies and providing medications for use by anesthesiologists.
nResponsibilities
nnnPrepares IV, central lines, and sets up transducers. Assists with rapid infusion of blood products, processes blood specimens, and completes EKG tests.

nnSets up, primes, and calibrates various equipment. Completes and documents quality checks on various equipment.
n
nnAssists with special procedures to include, but not limited to, line-placement, fiber optic intubation, hemodilutions, echocardiograms, EEGs and regional anesthesia.
