n nCharlotte Orthopedic Hospital is the region's only orthopedic hospital, centrally located just outside of uptown Charlotte. We have 9 ORs and see 12,000 cases per year. Scope includes ortho, complex spine, ortho trauma, and pediatrics (urology and ortho).
nWhat You'll Do
nnnAssists the anesthesia team prior to, during, and after patient procedures in any location anesthesia is provided across Novant Health
n
nnProficient in sterilization, maintenance, packing, and resupply of the most complex anesthesia supplies and emergency equipment
n
nnHas significant patient contact while assisting in procedures and works collaboratively with the anesthesia team, nursing staff, and off-site resources
n
n nWhat We're Looking For
nnnEducation: High School Diploma or GED, required.
n
nnExperience: Previous experience preferred but not required.
n
nnLicensure/Certification: RQI Responder – must obtain within 90 days of hire, required.
n
nnAdditional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Understands and practices the importance of proper cleaning and disinfecting of anesthesia equipment; inventory and ordering ability in order to meet supply and demand; some knowledge of anesthesia equipment and medical terminology.
