Title: Anesthesia Technician
Location: Downey, CA
Shift: 8E, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (every 3rd weekend required)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 GWW / 40 expected hours per week
Pay: Best in job market(Stipend also available for traveler)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team in Downey, CA on a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will provide direct support to the anesthesia care team, ensuring equipment readiness, supply management, and procedural support in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Job Responsibilities:
Demonstrated ability to perform all duties and responsibilities of a Certified Anesthesia Technologist, including:
Preparing, testing, and troubleshooting anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices
Stocking and maintaining anesthesia carts and supplies
Assisting anesthesia providers during procedures (setup, positioning, equipment operation)
Performing routine equipment maintenance and calibration
Following infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols
Responding to intraoperative equipment needs and emergencies
Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in an Anesthesia Technician role
BLS (American Heart Association)
ASATT Certification (Certified Anesthesia Technologist)
