Position Overview
26 Weeks On/26 Weeks Off Anesthesiologist opportunity with a thriving anesthesia practice at Cape Fear Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.
Responsibilities
Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
Responsible for the medical management of patients rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain during surgery and other procedures
Pre‑anesthesia assessment
Obtain and/or verify patient consent; discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitor the patient’s physiological condition
Perform clinical interventions as needed
Qualifications
M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine
ECFMG and FLEX certification
Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia
Currently licensed as a physician
Compensation & Benefits
New compensation package: $650,000
Sign‑on incentives (bonus, training assistance, or loan repayment): $100,000
