nWhat You’ll Champion:
nYork Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment within a medical direction model, with a mix of personally performed cases and supervision.
nProvide anesthesia care for advanced cardiac procedures, including:
nnnOpen Heart surgery – CABG and Valves
n
nnAortic surgeries
n
nnMechanical Cardiopulmonary support systems – Ventricular assist device, Impella device
n
nnCardiac Cath Lab interventions
n
nnTAVRs
n
nnEP ablations and EP studies
n
nnMitral clippings
n
nnWatchman procedures
n
nnCatheter based mitral and tricuspid valve replacement
n
nnPerform and interpret TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography) for open heart cases and occasional TEE guidance for structural heart procedures
n
nnTEE Certification preferred
n
nnAdult Cardiac Anesthesia Certification optional
n
nnParticipate in non-cardiac cases as needed
n
