Description
Cumberland Valley Surgery Center is the longest active multispecialty, same-day surgery center in the Hagerstown area! The facility has 1 operating room with general anesthesia capabilities, 2 treatment rooms with local/monitored anesthesia care capabilities, 1 preoperative area and 1 post anesthesia care area.

Schedule
Schedule includes: Monday‑Friday (8 hour shifts). PRN providers must work 1 day per week or a minimum of 6 shifts per month.
Responsibilities
Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the anesthesia department.
Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures.
Pre‑anesthesia assessment.
Obtain and/or verify patient consent.
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient.
Induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia.
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition.
Perform clinical interventions as needed.
Requirements
M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited college of medicine.
ECFMG and FLEX certification.
Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia.
Current license as a physician.
Total Rewards
W2 hourly rate: $350/hr. 1099 hourly rate: $350/hr. (must provide own medical malpractice).
