The facility maintains a physician supervision model and supports a clinical environment that includes Cath Lab procedural coverage.
About the Facility Location The area offers a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to diverse interests. Notable destinations include Delaware Park, the Buffalo Zoo, and the nearby Niagara Falls State Park, where visitors may experience the Maid of the Mist boat tour and Cave of the Winds. Additional options include the Buffalo AKG Art Museum, Erie Canal boat rides accessible from Lockport, the Penn Dixie Fossil Park and Nature Reserve, and the Aquarium of Niagara, providing varied opportunities for clinicians during time away from clinical duties.
About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The MD may medically direct CRNAs or personally perform cases depending on daily room volume, with 50% hands-on MD involvement. The surgical case mix includes Cath Lab procedures; proficiency with this case type is required. No TEE or cardiac requirement applies, and cardiac fellowship training is not required. No call coverage is required for this locum tenens assignment.
