About the Facility This hospital maintains dedicated operating room and endoscopy facilities designed to support a diverse range of surgical specialties. The facility operates under an independent anesthesia practice model and maintains established perioperative workflows to support quality patient care delivery. Locum tenens anesthesiologist coverage is sought beginning in January on an ongoing basis to address staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.
About the Facility Location Central Massachusetts offers a range of attractions suited to diverse interests. Visitors may explore Old Sturbridge Village, a living history museum spanning over 200 acres that recreates rural New England life of the 1830s, and Southwick's Zoo, New England's largest zoo, home to wildlife including African lions, a white rhino, and camels. The Worcester Art Museum, regarded as one of the finest of its size in the country, provides collections spanning ancient civilizations to contemporary works, making the region a destination suited to a broad range of interests.
About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide independent anesthesia coverage under an autonomous practice model with 100% hands-on MD involvement. Scheduled shifts run Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with 24-hour in-house call shifts on the 2nd and 4th weekends (Friday through Sunday, with a Friday 7:00 AM start). The surgical case mix includes general, plastics, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, endoscopy, healthy pediatrics, and OB procedures. Board certification is required, and the credentialing timeframe for this assignment is approximately 100 days.
