OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center, a 174‑bed facility in Danville, IL, part of the OSF HealthCare system, is seeking an Anesthesiologist.

The OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center provides comprehensive healthcare for the Danville community and surrounding area. The facility is operated by the Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis based in Peoria, IL.

Responsibilities
Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
Medically manage patients rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other procedures
Conduct pre‑anesthesia assessment
Obtain and/or verify patient consent
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
Induce, maintain, and remove anesthesia
Monitor patients’ physiological condition
Perform clinical interventions as needed
Requirements
M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited college of medicine
ECFMC and FLEX certification
Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia
Current physician license
