Job description
Overview
Position: Anesthesiologist at PRIME Saint Joseph Medical Center, an academic medical center in Joliet, IL. The center is a 480‑bed facility offering a range of specialties including cardiac, thoracic, neuro, general, OB, and healthy pediatrics.
Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate activities in the Anesthesia Department.
Perform medical management of patients during surgery and other procedures.
Conduct pre‑anesthesia assessment, obtain/verifying patient consent, discuss anesthetic options and risks.
Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
Monitor patient physiological condition and perform clinical interventions as needed.
Requirements
M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
ECFMC and FLEX certification.
Completion of an approved anesthesia residency.
Current license as a physician.
