Anesthesiology Locums Opportunity in Eureka, CA - Immediate Start

End Date: Ongoing (approx. 1-2 weeks/month coverage)
Shift: Night/weekend shifts (various times)
Hours/Week: 40+ (with OT opportunities)
Employment Type: Locum
Licensure: Active CA license, DEA required
Experience: BC in Anesthesiology or BE preferred
Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (additional rates TBD based on shift and call requirements)

What You'll Do Provide inpatient anesthesiology coverage during scheduled shifts
Manage clinic and on-call responsibilities, including night and weekend beeper calls
Participate in a pilot program offering increased bill rates for consistent shift coverage
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality patient care and safety
Follow shift guidelines for OB, eve, and call coverage, including pre-approval of overtime
Assist with coverage for various procedures and patient needs as required
What You Need
Required:
Active California medical license and DEA registration
Board-certified or truly board-eligible in Anesthesiology
Current CV uploaded for credentialing
Key skills: responsible, adaptable, team-oriented
Preferred: Experience in inpatient anesthesia settings
Ability to handle night/weekend shifts confidently
About the Assignment
This position involves providing anesthesia care for inpatients at a leading facility in Eureka, CA. The schedule includes clinic and call shifts, with a focus on night and weekend coverage.
