Job description
We are in need of Locums anesthesia coverage for several days during the month of April and possibly beyond. Most urgently is a need for coverage next Wednesday for 8 cases. We would need three providers. One Surgeon has 6 total joints and we give him two rooms/two teams. Starts at 0700 and should be done by around 1500. The other surgeon has 2 cases with possibly a third to be added (same time frame if the 3rd case adds). A total elbow and a reverse total shoulder. We may also need coverage for a spine on Thursday April 4 and 2 lumbar pain cases. This would be one provider as the laminectomy is in the morning and the pain cases are in the afternoon. So likely one provider . ACLS/BLS required general/MAC anesthesia required.
