Job Description The Guthrie Clinic's Robert Packer Hospital anesthesiology residency program seeks a pediatric anesthesiologist to oversee didactic and clinical education of residents.

Anesthesiology Residency Program
18 modern operating rooms
Teaching regular rotations of residents and medical students.
Robust EHR used in all areas, including operating room (Epic 10-star health system, top 1% of Epic Organizations)
Anesthesia Department manages OR schedule, providing the necessary structure for a smooth, efficient workday
0.1 FTE Administrative
Comprehensive Compensation and Benefits
Above industry average salary up to $575K total compensation
$25K Starting Bonus, $25K retention bonus each year for the following 3 years
$15K quality/citizenship bonus available yearly

Guthrie retirement savings plan (403B) with employer match up to 3% plus yearly age-based contributions

Teaching opportunities – Guthrie has 5 residency programs plus the Anesthesia Residency as of 2020. The successful candidate also has the potential to participate in the medical student education. Guthrie is a regional campus for the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine
