Job Description
Job Title: Anesthesiologist
Location: Ketchikan, Alaska
Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate : $293 - $316/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Anesthesiologist for a temporary assignment in Ketchikan, Alaska. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Anesthesiologist:
• Work 8-hour shifts with after-hours call coverage on weekdays and weekends
• Provide OR coverage Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Perform general OR cases as primary clinical responsibility
• Provide OB department support as needed
• Provide ED support as needed
• Perform occasional A-line and central line procedures
• Work independently/solo in clinical setting
• Manage variable patient contacts ranging from 5 to 15 patients per day
• Provide care for all age groups/demographics
• Maintain active Alaska state license prior to start
• Maintain required certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP and ATLS (desired)
• Demonstrate clinical activity within the last 24 months (case logs required)
• Utilize Epic EMR system as a proficient user for all documentation
• Willing to see MD/DO
• Complete 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirement (no exemptions)
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
