The Role:
Cardiac Anesthesiologist Needed in Asheville, NC
Location: Asheville, NC
1-2 CV Anesthesia MDs to cover 1-2 weeks per month
Must be TEE certified
Average Number of CV cases per day: 10-15
Assignment duration: 6 months, possibly longer
Shift Type: 10-12 hours. Regular Hours: Monday-Friday.
Pager Call: Required. Frequency of call about 15% and may include weeknights and weekends.
Cases: Cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgery, TAVR, CABG, MitraClip
Site Charting System: Cerner, AIMS
Are MDs supervising CRNAs: Yes (mainly supervisory)
What is the CRNA to MD ratio: 1 MD:3 CRNA or 1 MD:4 CRNA
Are MDs doing their own cases: Yes, MDs can work their own cases if preferred
